Ramsay Park White Suffolks took out 3rd place with a total of 224.83 points. Out of a maximum 250 points the two Waratah rams scored 119.77 out of a possible 120 for Objective measurement (this was scored using the Lambplan Trade $ index for each ram). For Physical Assessment the Waratah rams gained 45 out of a maximum 50 points. For Market Suitability the Waratah rams received 27 out of a possible 30 points, for Skin and Wool they received 20 out of a possible 30 points and for Breed Type they received 16 out of a possible 20 points.
Each of these sections were judged by a different expert who judged all the different breeds for their section. The winners and second place getters for each individual breed class went on to compete in the Interbreed event.
Steve and Debbie Milne are delighted to have won this prestigious class and feel it is the most important and commercially relevant class at the show
